About

Founded in 2004 by artists John Kelsey and Emily Sundblad, Reena Spaulings Fine Art takes its name from a fictional character created by Bernadette Corporation and quickly earned a reputation as the most energetic and innovative gallery outside Chelsea. Located on the Lower East Side, the gallery plays with its dual identity as both art dealer and artistic project, undermining professional divisions and disciplinary hierarchies. Works by Reena Spaulings have joined collections at MoMA, Whitney Museum, and Centre Pompidou.
